This concept came together after a conversation with Estelle. We pretty much stuck to the lyrics to describe her upbringing. A great cast, made up mainly of Estelle's family and friends. The video was shot in house in Shepherd's Bush London. The house was completely empty so we had to entirely art direct the location to fit into the style of the 1980s. ARRI Super 16mm.

This reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart. Shot on Super 16mm

Following heavy promotion with many televised appearances in the United Kingdom, the release entered the UK Singles Chart at number 3 in the UK chart. "This Groove" received positive reviews from music critics, with one of them labeling it as one of the finest moments of Beckham's solo career.

Shot inside Subterania nightclub in West London. The whole concept was to reflect the story within the lyrics about Kano getting thrown out of nightclub. I directed the women to be confrontational and far more aggressive than the boys. There was a technical issue with our camera shredding the film stock so we had to wait three hours for a replacement before doing the driving shots on a low-loader. I remember this was a very cold night in December. Fantastic crew. ARRI Super 16mm.

Starring Phil Daniels, Trevor Neal and Simon Hickson.

Filmed in Lewisham and Peckham and shot by Oscar nominated Director of Photography Robbie Ryan on Super 16mm.

The whole video was shot in one day using numerous locations across East London. Panavision 35mm Anomoprhic

The single reached number 21 on the UK Singles Chart in May 2002. The crew were nominated at the MOBO Awards in 2002.

The video for this legendary UK Garage track was shot in the Chatham Historic Dockyard. An amazing location, built in 1838 but it looks so futuristic. It was my first video to win an award for Wookie- Best Video UK Garage Awards 2000. ARRI 35mm

My second video for Yolanda Be Cool, following the enormous worldwide success of ‘We No Speak Americano’. This was shot in an old disused hospital in West London. I based the overall style on One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. It featured the artists as orderlies and my own daughter Isabel as the dancing girl on the TV. Isabel also played the ‘flower girl’ in Americano.

Filmed in a real ex-prison in Scarborough, UK. I took on the full responsibility of production design, costume buyer and casting of local non-actors for the prisoners and staff. I love to throw in hidden details for repeat viewers and super fans. Sony FS7 Digital

The first video I shot or Paul and Jacqui in Croydon. We utilized some great locations to put across the ‘austerity’ theme, shooting in the Arts & Crafts Quaker Hall and some areas now demolished. This was the first Rough Shots Project shoot where I started to mentor young people suffering issues of homelessness to inspire confidence and new skills. We also donated 30 Ben Sherman shirts and all our unused catering to Night Watch a Croydon homeless charity.
